Itinerary:

The adventure begins in Chinchero, a town very popular for its cultural heritage, where we can appreciate and buy its famous natural alpaca and sheep fiber fabrics. We will also visit its Inca-colonial town, with its beautiful church and local market. Next, we head to the enigmatic terraces of Moray, where we will learn a little more about their possible use and importance in ancient times. Afterward, we will visit the Maras salt mines, unique in Peru, where ancestral work systems are preserved to produce the famous “Pink Salt of the Andes”. After the visit, we go to the town of Maras where we will have a scheduled lunch. We will conclude our day with an activity in the “last living Inca city” of Ollantaytambo, where we will walk through the ancient urban area and visit the famous Inca archaeological site. Finally, we will take the transportation that will take us back to the hotel.
