Itinerary:

The adventure begins in Chinchero, one of the best-known towns in the Sacred Valley where we can learn through its famous fabrics in the natural fiber of sheep and alpaca, part of its culture, in addition, to its beautiful Inca-colonial town with its beautiful church and local market. Then we go to the Chinchero viewpoint, starting the walk with a steep ascent at first, which gradually eases, crossing its cultivation fields and allowing us to see the local people in their daily activities. After reaching the highest point, we begin the descent to visit one of the largest and most important cultivation warehouses in the Sacred Valley known as “Machuqolqa”, where we will take the van to continue the tour until we reach the town of Maras for lunch. After the short break, we head to the enigmatic terraces of Moray where we will learn a little more about their possible use in ancient times. We will conclude our day with a visit to the Maras salt mines, unique in Peru, where ancestral work systems are still preserved to produce the famous “Pink Salt of the Andes”. Finally, we will take the transportation that will take us back to the hotel.
